🦇 Kellogg's recently launched a new cereal inspired by the Netflix series "Wednesday," featuring chocolate puffs and marshmallows that resemble something coffin-shaped, (at least that's what I think they are and let's be honest, should be.) ⚰️
As I'm writing this, reports of Wednesday cereal are hitting Target stores in the US but that wasn't the case about a month and a half ago. This cereal was only available in Canada but the homie CerealHookUp over on IG had us covered.
Its funny because it felt like everyone got there orders the same day. X/Twitter and IG feeds were filled with pictures of Wednesday cereal. Can I just say I love when that happens. It's was like everyone getting their Mcdonald's Halloween pails from last year and sharing pics. Its one big Halloween party and we're all invited!
Let's take a look at the cereal. On the front of the box, we see Wednesday with her trademark deadpan expression. She knows she's adding a some much needed macabre your morning routine, and she's totally cool with it.
Honestly, this box is worth framing. It's so dark and spooky and gothic. When I was in one of my many goth phases, this box would've been displayed prominently where I can swoon over it for hours. I miss those days of wearing all black, listening to nothing but Siouxsie and the Banshees and Joy Division while the Crow played on loop in my VCR.
Back to the cereal itself. Just like the box, the cereal is so dark its almost black. Kelloggs knocked it out of the park with this one! If I had to compare it to another cereal, I'd say it taste a lot like Oreo O's
Since this is popping up at Target's here in the US, I say get a box this spooky season and enjoy it while you marathon Wednesday on Netflix!
